Mfg. 1962 (1961-1962 approx. 3,900 units; 1961-1985 for all 44 Carbines) with early features (missing sourdough white insert front sight blade) to include black anodized aluminum carbine buttplate, "Deerstalker" receiver marking (soon eliminated due to similarity to Ithaca "Deerslayer" logo), barrel marking without "INC.", screw retained aluminum cartridge guide (later models were riveted steel) plus lack of cartridge release button at loading port used on later models. Uncle Mike's sling studs added along with Bonanza gold fill in receiver markings. CONDITION: light handling and use marks throughout on metal and stock; near excellent bore. (23-6331/NW).
